Nazar Voloshin is a 19-year-old footballer who plays as a left winger for Dynamo Kyiv, one of the most successful clubs in Ukraine. He is also a member of the Ukraine U19 national team and has been recognized as one of the best young talents in the country.
Voloshin was born in Kremenchuk, a city in central Ukraine, and started his football journey at Metalist Kharkiv, a club that was dissolved in 2016 due to financial problems. He then moved to Dynamo Kyiv, where he progressed through the youth ranks and made his debut for the senior team in 2023.
Before that, he had a successful loan spell at Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, a newly promoted side in the Ukrainian Premier League, where he scored four goals in 13 appearances and helped them avoid relegation. He also impressed with his speed, dribbling and creativity on the wing.
Voloshin has also represented Ukraine at various youth levels, from U15 to U19. He scored three goals in 10 games for the U17 team and participated in the 2020 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. He is currently a regular starter for the U19 team and has six caps to his name.
Voloshin has been praised by coaches and pundits for his potential and talent. He was named the Top Golden Talent of 2022 by the Ukrainian Football Federation, an award that honors the best U19 player in the country. He has also been compared to Andriy Yarmolenko, another Dynamo Kyiv product who plays for West Ham United and is Ukraine’s all-time top scorer.
